OSHA Focus Four, Struck By

Continuing the discussion of OSHA’s focus Four, we will focus on Struck-by hazards. On construction sites there are many possibilities for an employee to be affected by objects falling, flying, swinging or rolling. Often, these are hypothetical situations that safety professional and/ or competent persons on site should anticipate and be aware of. Though these hazards may not always be easy to recognize, we can always look at past data to help aid us in controlling struck-by hazards.
